Canada And Volunteering

Volunteering, We cannot stress how much of a Difference it makes in our society today. When people volunteer it saves Money, Time and Lives. When students volunteer they show that they too can play an active role in society and how they can shape the future.

Volunteering has been an active roll in society for some time now, but has never been looked apon as this important untill now. Saint Jean De Brebeuf Students are required 40 Christian Service hours in order to Graduate, this was done to show them what it means to be Christian, "Always lending your help to those in need". This activity allows students to express their generousity and kindness through Service. With this program instated students will leave our school with an education of not only knowledge, but of Volunteering and the message that was clear to them as they worked their best to better off the lives of another person that they did not know.

Students are the future of our people and this experience allowed them to help people they did not know with all their potential, showing the true heart and compassion that they will bring with them all their lives. Volunteering shows the true meaning of Action through Compassion, and how One Person Can Make A Difference.
